Where Every Believer Began
Long before the first denomination was named, before the councils drew their boundaries, before the creeds of men divided what the Spirit had united — there was simply the gathering.
A shared table. A common prayer. The water of baptism. The bread and the cup. And the living presence of the risen Jesus among His people.
First Century Church exists to bring that gathering back into the world. And we are just beginning.
We are in our formative season — planting the vision, building the community, and laying the ancient foundations that will shape everything to come. First Century Church is not yet a building, not yet a Sunday morning schedule. It is something older than both: a people gathering around a shared discovery.
We are an educational ministry and a living historical community in formation, dedicated to the faithful reconstruction of first-century Christian worship — rooted in the Jewish and Hebraic world that gave the faith its original form and language.
We are not a new denomination. We do not seek to compete with the church you already call home. We are a convergence point — a place where believers from every tradition can step into the world of the earliest followers of Jesus and discover the ancient, unifying foundation they all share.
Before the branches divided, there was a common root. We gather around the elements that have always belonged to all believers:
The simple, foundational declarations that united the earliest community.
The ancient and universal entry into the Body of Christ.
The shared table that transcends every tradition and every generation.
The unceasing, unifying conversation with the Father that has held the church together across every century.
These are not the property of any denomination. They are the inheritance of every believer.
Whether you are Baptist or Catholic, Messianic or Pentecostal, traditional or seeking — the first century belongs to you. It is your history. It is your foundation.
We are inviting those who feel the pull of the ancient way to join us now — not to observe something finished, but to help build something that is just finding its form.
Simple. Ancient. Universal. Alive.
The educational and media ministry of First Century Church — already underway. Through biblical study, historical inquiry, and cultural exploration, Pilgrim's Light carries the ancient light of the first-century faith into the modern world.

Every gift at this stage is a founding contribution. You are not giving to something that exists yet in its fullness; you are helping to bring it into being.
